weekend update w/ gavin

happy new year to everyone!!

it's been a wonderfully busy weekend in camp gavin. friday i spent meeting up with a friend of a friend in jeff morrison. he just moved to town with his family to pursue whatever God has planned for him. i'm excited to partner up with him on some ministry projects, first one being this weekend.

the mountain t.o.p. reunion/gathering that i had been organizing came and went. i think it went really really well. all the folks who volunteered to make it happen came in and did a great job. it was quite the surreal experience. afterwards a group of us caught up, telling mostly true stories, over some food and wine.

saturday was the family night as my bro & tiffany had a party for family and friends. the highlight of this was when some of the family changed over the mailbox of bro's house. the long story is that my mom does all the dog show stuff and is passionate about her welsh corgis, since my bro and tiff have two corgis for dogs my mom has blessed them with many corgi items, one being a painted mailbox. to this they say, it's cute, but it's not going on the mailbox.. well it finally made for 2006.

think that is about it... i slept when i could, worked on a new setup for the blog (to be unveiled later) now it's time for college football.
