it was quiet

it was quiet, but two years ago today this blog was birthed. for blog's second birthday i thought i might expand on the blog name, which i think is the longest blog name out there.. if not, it atleast competes.

"hit the back button to move fwd" was just an expression that came to me about where my life was in the technology of culture, but spiritually set in the past of monastic practices. since birthing the blog, i still find ways to navigate forward by looking at was in the past.

so with whatever future you are moving forward into, i would suggest going back a bit, it has done wonders for me.
