I'm wondering what seminary they went to.

certainly local pastors school.. or maybe this one.

Scary, dude....

Oh. My.

I'm with all y'all.

as i think about it. i'm kinda impressed by the confidence in speaking of God by the kids. it is admirable that the congregations allow the kids to preach. certainly it was in the scriptures of Jesus as a teen speaking and the teachers being amazed by his understanding. it still doesn't say he became a rabbi then...

i don't know if they can substitute for those things associated with pastoral care, ie. counseling, visitation, etc... somethings need life experience when sharing the gospel. Jesus was at least in his 30s when he began his ministries. i'm not scholar enough to know the ages of all the prophets, but they were older than these guys. one needs a little life behind them to be credible as 'pastor'

Preaching as parlor trick.

It made me think of King Josiah who was 8 when he found the scrolls and called his country to repent and follow God. The prophet Samuel also heard God's voice when he was a boy. Maybe we are responding to them being called preachers, a title we associate with lots of other ministry responsibilities and seminary training.
